Not Fab, Nor Fave (Requested by the FAB, M.R.S.!!!)

 Before I begin, please let it be known that I love Maybelline. I have used their products since I was in Middle School; nearing my 29th birthday, that's a long time! It's a great quality brand that won't "break the bank". Owning tons of their products, I am very comfortable and confident in recommending them to my BFF and my sister!
 Now to get down to business...LASH Stiletto is awful! It is said to make your lashes look 70% longer  and add an amazing shine. It did neither for my eyelashes. It is so difficult to work with and smears all over the eyelid. It does not lift or separate and it takes forever to dry. I would definitely recommend that you do not waste your money on this mascara! The one positive about this mascara is that I like the packaging. With its red bottom, it reminds me of my beloved Louboutins!

MAKE-UP
The make-up that you are wearing , for any needed touch-ups through the day. Powder and oil blotters are very important for oily skin. MAC Blot Powder is amazing, it lasts for a very long time and is the only powder I use. It works very well for my oily skin! I highly recommend MAC powders as they have a huge selection, for all skin types! Blotting Papers are also really nice for removing any unwanted shine. You can find them anywhere, however in a pinch, find your nearest public restroom and the toilet-seat covers do the same exact same thing as an oil-blotter. Don't forget to bring along the lipstick and lip gloss you are wearing for the day, very important since we re-apply throughout the day...

MINTS and/or GUM
Now nobody wants to have to worry about yucky breath, right?! Throughout the day we come in contact with many a person and let's be real, those Garlic Rolls that were so delish at lunch can come back to bite you, or rather the person to whom you're speaking, in the nose. Big no-no! Remember the importance of gum or some mints. Even better, and quite amazing, in my opinion, are Colgate Wisps. Wisps are mini, disposable tooth brushes that come with the paste already loaded in the bristles. Best part? No water needed! Genius!!!

BAND-AID ACTIVE FRICTION BLOCK STICK
Another exquisite invention is this "Blister Blocker" from Band-aid. It comes in a small tube that you rub on your feet where they are susceptible to blisters. Totally compact, you could even throw it your pocket, best part is, it works! Band-Aid has many blister fighters. A plus? It smells really good!

SNACK
When we are the go it isn't always easy to stop for a sit-down, nutritious meal...or sometimes we just forget. I always keep an emergency "stash", in my purse. Granola bars are great, so are apples or a banana...Also keeping a bottle of water with you is helpful AND healthy.

ANTI-BACTERIAL ANYTHING
One of the most important thing to keep on your person is an anti-bacterial wipe or gel. We touch sooo many things through the day, some things we aren't even aware of. So it is so important to keep your hands clean! Unknowingly we touch our faces, on average, 7 times a day. Now, I'm a germ freak, so this is an optional step, but with that being said...PRETTY PLEASE carry something that will keep you anti-germy!

MISCELLANEOUS
*Extra cash and an emergency credit card are of utmost importance, no one want to be stuck with no moola or some form of payment, i.e. credit card.
*Deodorant, everyone loves to feel fresh.
*Tide to Go Stain Pen- awesome for any un-planned spills or splatters, but really, who plans a spill...
*A pen and note pad, for ideas, lists, notes...etc.
*A nail file, as you never know when you might need it!

 The three colors are goldeny browns and it's colors like these that are not only parfait for a summery, glowy look, they are colors that you can wear ANY season to bring a lil' bit o' shimmer to warm up your look! The formulation is amazingly smooth and blendable. Sephora customers awarded this range 4.5 stars out of 5! Personally, I give them a 5!!! There are two other trios in the line; Bronze Glow and Champagne Glow. Each trio is $28.
 Stila is one of those brands that everyone needs in their collection, they are amazing! Created in 1994, Stila is all about enhancing each individuals own special beauty. I have MANY products from this company and love each and every one, and have gotten many a friend hooked on them, too!

Peacocks, Peacocks, EVERYWHERE!

 The beautiful and majestic bird, it has that fab arrogant swagger, that proud, puffed out chest...Of whom do I speak, you ask? The Peacock, of course! If ever a bird could make a splash into the fashion industry, it is, my beloved, snotty Peacock. So, I'm not surprised at all, to see this fabulous colorful look all over runways, my favorite lil' boutiques, even Target!
 The gorgeous, jewel-toned colors have a range of greens, blues, black and gold. These colors are wearable and universally flattering to all skin tones! There are so many possibilities  when it comes to this trend. Clothes, accessories, jewelry and of course...make-up!!!

Clothes: Spruce up a tee or tank with a Peacock-feathered pattern on a scarf. You could even find some feathers at your local craft store and sew or hot glue-gun them on to said tee or tank. Hey, why not spruce up a pair of plain heels or flats? Get creative, the possibilities are only limited by your imagination!

Accessories: Look for headbands, which will look beautiful on hair. If you don't like the actual Peacock feather, try steering toward the colors found in the feather. Jewel tones have been in fashion and will stay in fashion for quite some time. Plus it will add a pop of color to a cold winter day.

Jewelry: This one's the easiest! You can practically go to any boutique and I can almost guarantee you will see an homage to my fave avian! Earrings, necklaces, rings...I see them everywhere!

Make-up: When it comes to make-up, there are so many possibilities! All of the colors (greens, blues, black and gold) can be used as a base color, a crease color, or eyeliner, gold however would be the only highlight shade. If you want a hint of extra drama, don't forget to line your waterline (the skin right above your eyelashes). I only recommend doing the bottom waterline; doing the top (tight lining) can tend to close off eyes, making them appear smaller. For the water line, I recommend Stila's Eye Kajal in sapphire or black. It's very creamy and goes on so easily, you can find them at your local Sephora or Sephora.com for $18-

TIME for accessories!

 Anybody who knows me, knows that I am obsessed with the ever amazing, Michael Kors. If ever I were to meet him, I just might faint dead away! Oh, how I love him while he, has not a clue of my loving existence...SIGH. But, it is o.k., because, I get to enjoy his amazing clothing and accessories and that is a lovely compensation. So, when I saw the Baguette-Bezel Watch in Rose Gold, I simply had to have it!
 As we know, accessories can make an outfit; they are, if you will, the icing on the cake. This icing is the best. EVER! This watch is a perfect addition to one's collection; it's big, it's beautiful, it's versatile. It is a total statment piece. This watch goes with everything, not only is it a great day-to-day watch, it's versatile enough to wear with an LBD and your most fabu heels! The rose-gold color is classic, the "face" is completely surrounded by peach crystal baguettes. There are three "hands", a date window and even has a stop watch function! This piece of perfection is a must see and a lovely addition to any watch lover's collection! The price, though a bit high, is totally worth every penny!

New Found Treasure: Concealer

Oh. Em. Gee. I have found a treasure in this fabu world of cosmetics. It is truly, wonderfully, sublimely perfect! Even better? It's dearly inexpensive, SCORE! What's this wondrous product I speak of? Well, here we go guys, it is the... Covergirl & Olay Simply Ageless Eye Concealer! I watched a review on this product on YOUTUBE, on Tiffany Ds channel (check her out, she is amazingly talented!) Seeing the product and how beautiful it looked on the skin, my curiosity was sparked! I have been on a looong journey searching for the perfect concealer and I am impressed! I am so happy with this product, I can say with complete honesty, I will re-purchase it always!
 Forever have I used high-end concealers, always trying to find that perfect one. I'm talking, Chanel, Bobbi Brown, MAC...I will say that this divinely smooth and creamy product blows everything else I've tried out of the water! Between it's smoothness and divine coverage of dark circles, it, in my opinion, tops the charts!

OPI Spark de Triomphe Glitter Nail Color

This is a rich and beautiful shade, just amazing! OPI has always come out with fun, pretty, diversive shades. I especially adore Sparke de Triomphe, (my second favorite is Mad as a Hatter)!
The shade is a silvery/Champagne color; one coat is an ethereal silver and looks devine both by itself and over another polish. 2-3 coats really pulls out the Champagne shade and is pretty opaque. One trend that is very fashion forward, is painting 8 fingers one color and 2 fingers a different shade. I always put a glitter shade on my two ring fingers. It looks fab and adds a bit of something different, and always remember...Different can be a great thing!
